Software Engineers at OnePay are responsible for building products and systems that serve customers and run the company.
Responsibilities include architecting, designing, and implementing software applications, developing features from the ground up, writing robust documentation, building and maintaining vendor integrations, and solving complex problems involving large-scale money movement and sensitive financial data.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3-7 years of experience in software engineering.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred.
Experience in a high-scale banking or fintech organization is required.
Professional experience in building, shipping, and growing customer-facing products is necessary.
Knowledge of banking protocols, APIs, and security standards is essential.
A deep understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices is required.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of banking systems, financial transactions, and payment processing.
Experience in leading, mentoring, and demonstrating excellence in execution is important, with a track record of getting things done with little oversight.
A passion for the craft and care for colleagues is expected, valuing quality across code, communication, and culture.
A desire to grow skills and the ability to learn quickly is necessary.
