Description:

Apify is seeking a Backend Engineer for their newly established Integrations team to enhance connectivity with other platforms.
The role involves designing and implementing backend services in Node.js/TypeScript for integrations with third-party platforms.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining APIs and webhooks for platforms like Zapier, IFTTT, and Make.
The engineer will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and deliver integration requirements, ensuring a smooth user experience.
The position requires identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving bottlenecks or bugs to maintain high performance and responsiveness of backend services.
The engineer will take ownership of writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code while promoting best practices in backend development.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a technical background with experience in software development.
Expertise in Node.js/TypeScript is required.
Experience with Python is a plus, but not mandatory.
Candidates should have experience building integration apps with platforms like Zapier, IFTTT, and Make.
Solid knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and asynchronous processing is necessary.
A collaborative, experiment-driven mindset is essential, especially for undefined projects.
Excellent communication skills in English are required.
