Description:

  • The Backend Engineer will develop highly scalable systems and algorithms to simplify healthcare operations.

  • Responsibilities include shipping high-quality and secure code, designing reliable backend systems, staying updated on security principles, learning new technologies, and collaborating with team members.

Requirements:

  • A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent work experience of at least 2 years is required.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a software engineer working with Python.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud services is necessary.
  • It is strongly desired to have experience with Django, Django Rest Framework, MySQL, or Kubernetes.
  • Fullstack experience, especially with Typescript and React, is a plus.
  • A strong interest in ChatGPT, LLMs, and other GenAI technologies is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare tech, particularly with Smart on FHIR, CDS, and EHR integrations, is advantageous.
  • Prior experience working for an enterprise SaaS company is also a plus.
