Description:
Neon is seeking a Backend Engineer with expertise in Go to join the Billing & Marketplaces Team, responsible for solving complex billing challenges for all Neon users.
The team focuses on issues like payment processing errors, invoicing accuracy, subscription management, and pipeline correctness to ensure a seamless billing experience.
The role involves building innovative features to enhance the Neon platform, collaborating with various stakeholders on future developments, working on integrations with partner companies, and owning features from ideation to user feedback iteration.
The position also requires participation in on-call rotations to handle critical issues effectively.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in developing backend Golang applications.
Proficiency in Infrastructure technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Github CI/CD, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is essential.
Previous experience working in a team of software engineers delivering real value to end-users is required.
Ability to contribute to the productivity of other engineers on the team is a must.
Preferable experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, and message buses like Kafka, AWS SQS, and Kinesis.
