Description:

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to enhance Spotify’s advertiser-facing business management platform, focusing on top-tier booking capabilities
  • Design and develop a scalable, API-first platform in collaboration with internal partners, ensuring scalability and correct permissions
  • Lead high-impact projects with engineers, designers, product managers, and data science teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Drive tech initiatives, shape the roadmap, and contribute to the Spotify-wide backend developer community
  • Work in an autonomous, cross-functional agile team emphasizing creative problem-solving and fast iteration

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in backend development, system design, backend languages (Java, Scala, Python), API development, microservices, and distributed systems
  • Understanding of balancing business success with high standards in code and system development
  • Ability to design system architecture for entire features, including rollout plans, logging, metrics, monitoring, and communication with stakeholders
  • Prioritization of team and organizational success, seeking opportunities to deepen expertise and uphold best engineering practices
  • Thrive in an environment that balances autonomy and collaboration, influencing and driving the success of initiatives
