Description:

  • Included Health is seeking a Backend Engineer II for their Clinical Automation team, focused on enhancing healthcare through technology and automation.
  • The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for clinical products.
  • Responsibilities include evolving system architecture, driving product features through the development lifecycle, and mentoring other engineers on best practices and project management.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a proven track record of building complex, scalable, and reliable services, along with leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Hands-on experience with backend development is essential.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining APIs (REST, GraphQL, etc.) is necessary.
  • Candidates should be skilled in modeling real-world data in both RDBMS and NoSQL persistence layers.
  • Experience with technologies such as Go, Javascript, React, Rails, GraphQL, Docker, and AWS is a bonus.
  • A passion for the mission of advocating for a healthcare system that works for everyone is essential.
