Description:
Work as a Backend Engineer II in the Revenue team at Included Health, a healthcare company focused on improving healthcare access for all communities.
Collaborate with Revenue engineers on payments, claims, and invoicing processes.
Lead technical planning for member experience enhancements in partnership with product managers.
Contribute to full-stack web development, including frontend, API, and backend services.
Design systems to ensure consistent and efficient data flow across multiple services.
Develop features related to telemedicine experiences like virtual behavioral health and primary care.
Address issues promptly to enhance product reliability.
Identify and address technical debt to improve the product roadmap.
Participate in technical decisions within the Applications Engineering organization.
Promote best software engineering practices across teams.
Technologies used include Golang, React, TypeScript, NextJS, GraphQL, DJango, HL7, FHIR, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Python.
Requirements:
Excitement about working in a high-performance team and delivering impactful results.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to engage in technical debates.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in building consumer-grade web applications.
Proficiency in full-stack web development and modern technologies.
Continuous learning mindset and openness to feedback.
Ability to become a subject matter expert in code and demonstrate strong product ownership.
Desire to contribute to technical decisions and influence roadmap plans.
Strong programming skills, CS fundamentals, and reliability in software implementation.
