Remote Backend Engineer (Java & NodeJS), Makro Head Office

Description:

• The Backend Engineer will work with Integration Architect and Solution Architects to write the integration for various requirements.
• The role involves analyzing the current integration and planning for refactoring to conform to Enterprise Integration Architecture.
• Integration should have abstraction to ensure that the source and destination systems can be changed by writing connectors.
• The engineer will work as part of scrum teams.

Requirements:

• Experience in Java Springboot and NestJS/ExpressJS is a must.
• A Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or a related field is required.
• Candidates should have sound knowledge of any relational database, preferably Oracle Database.
• Knowledge of Node JS, Java Script, and Java for writing REST APIs is necessary.
• Familiarity with deploying APIs in containers is required.
