Remote Backend Engineer (LATAM, Africa, Europe)

Description:

• The Backend Engineer will contribute code to live Node.js/GraphQL/tRPC backends supporting clients' web and mobile applications in industries like scooter-sharing, meditation, and rentals.
• The role involves switching between solo and team projects, overcoming coding challenges, and producing high-quality, innovative code.
• Responsibilities include managing client expectations, working with Product Managers, maintaining project documentation, leading agile ceremonies, and ensuring best practices are followed.
• The position is full-time and remote, requiring the candidate to be based in Latin America, Africa, or Europe and work on Eastern time.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Node.js BE project experience.
• Previous experience in building BE services and good understanding of RDBMS.
• Experience with relational databases with many entities (100+).
• Ability to proactively manage time for maximizing productivity.
