Remote Backend engineer | Mid - senior | Go | NordPayments team

Description:

• The Backend department utilizes modern and innovative technologies to create world-leading cybersecurity products.
• As part of the payments team, you will build secure, high-performance systems that power the business.
• You will tackle real-world challenges, including fraud prevention and seamless checkout experiences.
• You will work alongside passionate and experienced engineers.
• Main responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining APIs, working with credit cards, ApplePay, and GooglePay, integrating new service providers, developing solutions according to PCI-DSS compliance requirements, and improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Requirements:

• You must have experience with PHP or Go.
• A solid understanding of OOP principles and good code design is required.
• Familiarity with API design is necessary.
• Good knowledge of MySQL is essential.
• Knowledge of Docker, RabbitMQ, and KeyDB is considered a big plus.
