As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for crafting and maintaining essential microservices for in-app notification delivery.
You will collaborate closely with other teams to ensure the scalability and stability of services that support various features across NordVPN, NordPass, and NordLayer.
Your role will involve designing and developing improvements to microservices that handle a substantial volume of requests per minute.
You will mentor colleagues and promote development best practices within the team.
Engaging in R&D operations to explore and adopt cutting-edge technologies will be part of your responsibilities.
You will foster smooth communication and collaboration between team members and other professionals from various teams.

Requirements:

You should have great experience working with backend technologies, ideally with Go or PHP, and a willingness to learn the other language(s).
A strong understanding of system design and knowledge of design patterns is essential.
Previous experience with REST, MQTT, K8s, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, VerneMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservice architecture is a significant advantage.
You should be passionate about building APIs that are easy to use, well documented, secure, and simple to understand.
