Remote Backend Engineer - Node

Description:

• The position is for a Backend Engineer with expertise in NodeJs.
• The candidate should possess strong self-management skills and be able to collaborate with product, business, and technical teams to address and resolve issues.
• Responsibilities include building GraphQL microservices using NodeJS, developing scalable asynchronous systems using Kafka, and creating a Cloud-based SaaS application with a deep understanding of deployment scripts and architecture.
• The role involves writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, engaging in the full development life cycle, and staying updated on software engineering trends and tools.
• The candidate must maintain high standards for quality and performance, continuously improve software development processes, and work closely with leads to enhance technical skills.
• Participation in scrum meetings, requirement discussions, and client interactions is expected.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in developing Node.JS applications.
• Proficient in English communication with a technical and business focus.
• Familiarity with Express or Nest Frameworks, GraphQL APIs, and Kafka.
• Experience in Microservices Architecture, Node Unit Testing, troubleshooting, clean code practices, and high-performance code.
• Background in the Logistics industry, Azure services, Kubernetes, and React.Js is advantageous.
