The Backend Engineer will drive new feature delivery end-to-end through implementation, launch, and continuous iteration.
Responsibilities include managing deployments, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating in an agile environment to translate business requirements into actionable development code using best practices.
The role involves writing testable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to engineering design sessions.
The engineer will balance speed and quality with a focus on tangible results.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software development experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
Excellent communication skills are required, with a minimum B2 level of English proficiency.
Candidates should be comfortable operating in a sometimes ambiguous, fast-changing environment with rapid iteration cycles.
A track record of managing feature requests with realistic timelines is necessary.
Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies, as well as working within Agile teams, is required.
Candidates must be comfortable writing supporting documentation.
Technical expertise in NodeJS and Typescript is essential, along with experience in Rest API and GraphQL (Apollo Server, Apollo Federation).
Familiarity with Gitlab CI, Github Actions, Circle CI, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and AWS RDS is required.
A working knowledge of the AWS stack, including RDS, Cognito, ECS, SQS, and SNS, is necessary.
Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Micro-service architecture is expected.
Desired skills include knowledge of React, React Native, Python, Vue, and Svelte.
