As a Backend Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA professionals.
You will participate in product planning from discovery to deployment, contributing your input throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include developing and enhancing features, APIs, and ensuring a customer-centric experience through quality engineering.
Requirements:
You must have strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript best practices, along with experience in at least one other server-side language.
A deep understanding of SQL, particularly with PostgreSQL, is required for handling query optimization, data migrations, and database modeling.
You should possess a solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns, with experience in building and extending classes.
Experience in designing scalable systems to manage rapid growth and increasing demands is essential.
Proven expertise in optimizing systems for high transaction volumes, handling concurrency, idempotency, and performance under load is necessary.
You must be skilled in building APIs, including input validation, JWT tokens, and ensuring security and scalability through queue-based systems.
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer is required.
