Description:

  • Remedy is looking for a talented Backend Engineer (Node.js) who possesses infinite curiosity to work alongside product managers and partners to create impactful products.
  • The role involves driving new feature delivery end-to-end, managing deployments, and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
  • The engineer will collaborate in an agile environment to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable development code using best practices.
  • Responsibilities include writing testable code, participating in code reviews, engaging in engineering design sessions, and balancing speed and quality with a focus on tangible results.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software development experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, with a minimum B2 level of English proficiency.
  • Applicants should be comfortable operating in a sometimes ambiguous, fast-changing environment with rapid iteration cycles.
  • A track record of managing feature requests with realistic timelines is necessary.
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies, as well as working within Agile teams, is essential.
  • Candidates should be comfortable writing supporting documentation.
  • Technical expertise in NodeJS and Typescript is required, along with experience in Rest API and GraphQL (Apollo Server, Apollo Federation).
  • Familiarity with Gitlab CI, Github Actions, Circle CI, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and AWS RDS is necessary.
  • A working knowledge of the AWS stack, including RDS, Cognito, ECS, SQS, and SNS, is required.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Micro-service architecture is essential.
  • Desired skills include knowledge of React, React Native, Python, Vue, and Svelte.
