Remedy is looking for a talented Backend Engineer (Node.js) who possesses infinite curiosity to work alongside product managers and partners to create impactful products.
The role involves driving new feature delivery end-to-end, managing deployments, and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
The engineer will collaborate in an agile environment to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable development code using best practices.
Responsibilities include writing testable code, participating in code reviews, engaging in engineering design sessions, and balancing speed and quality with a focus on tangible results.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software development experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
Excellent communication skills are required, with a minimum B2 level of English proficiency.
Applicants should be comfortable operating in a sometimes ambiguous, fast-changing environment with rapid iteration cycles.
A track record of managing feature requests with realistic timelines is necessary.
Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies, as well as working within Agile teams, is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable writing supporting documentation.
Technical expertise in NodeJS and Typescript is required, along with experience in Rest API and GraphQL (Apollo Server, Apollo Federation).
Familiarity with Gitlab CI, Github Actions, Circle CI, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and AWS RDS is necessary.
A working knowledge of the AWS stack, including RDS, Cognito, ECS, SQS, and SNS, is required.
Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Micro-service architecture is essential.
Desired skills include knowledge of React, React Native, Python, Vue, and Svelte.
