Remote Backend Engineer (Nodejs/Typescript)

• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust backend solutions using Node.js and TypeScript, designing secure RESTful APIs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, implementing unit and integration tests, working with relational and non-relational databases, optimizing application performance, participating in code reviews, and documenting code and development processes.

Requirements:

• The candidate must have at least 4 years of experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar role.
• A solid understanding of Node.js and TypeScript is required.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and best practices in API design is essential.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) is necessary.
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Chai, or similar is required.
• Knowledge of version control using Git is essential.
• The candidate should have experience in implementing scalable solutions and performance optimization.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team is required.
• A proactive attitude towards solving complex problems and generating efficient solutions is necessary.
• Clear communication skills in both English and Spanish (if applicable) for collaboration with international teams are required.
• Attention to detail and the ability to write clean and maintainable code are essential.
