Remote Backend Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript)

Description:

• Deel is seeking a Backend Engineer proficient in Node.js and TypeScript to join their global team dedicated to facilitating worldwide hiring processes for businesses.
• The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA’s to contribute to product planning, development, and deployment stages.
• Responsibilities include developing new features, API’s, improving existing products, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• The ideal candidate should have expert knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, NoSQL (especially PostgreSQL and ORM libraries like Sequelize), and AWS Services (S3, EKS, SNS, SQS).
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer is required for this role.

Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of Node.js and at least one other server-side language.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript syntax.
• Strong understanding of SQL, NoSQL (especially PostgreSQL and ORM libraries like Sequelize), and AWS Services (S3, EKS, SNS, SQS).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
