Remote Backend Engineer - Payments Team

Description:

• SQUIRE is seeking a Backend Engineer to join the Payments product team.
• The role involves developing and perfecting features to enhance client and customer experiences.
• The Backend Engineer will work with Node.js to build and maintain high-quality product features for service applications.
• Collaboration with the Payments product team and other engineers is essential to ensure seamless integration with frontend and mobile applications.
• Responsibilities include participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and resolving software defects, and providing/receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in service application development using Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture patterns, frameworks, and best practices.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Must have a quiet, distraction-free remote workspace with reliable internet connectivity.
• Authorization to work in the United Kingdom without employer sponsorship.
