The team is responsible for products like Podcast Feeds, Discovery Weekly, and DJ, serving hundreds of millions of users.
The YAPP squad within the PZN Strategic Programming Product Area focuses on talk content targeting and banner promotions on Home, Browse, and Search.
The squad collaborates with stakeholders in Podcast, Audiobook, and Ads missions to achieve strategic goals and optimize content recommendations.
The position is for an infra engineer skilled in both Backend (BE) and Data Engineering (DE), with experience working alongside Machine Learning (ML) engineers.
Responsibilities include developing production systems to enhance listener experience, designing backend systems and APIs, and operating Java services and Scio pipelines for millions of users.
The role involves leveraging Spotify’s data sets for podcast and video recommendations and being a technical leader in an agile team.
Collaboration with engineers, product owners, and designers is essential to solve complex problems and create engaging user experiences.

Requirements:
