• The Backend Engineer - Platform Productivity role at Grafana Labs is focused on enhancing the Internal Engineering Platform to assist application engineers in deploying their software securely and efficiently.
• The position involves leading the automation of release processes, including CI/CD and bootstrapping, while supporting internal engineering teams with 'golden path' techniques.
• The squad is responsible for maintaining, improving, and extending the existing platform, as well as determining the roadmap and sunset strategies for outdated systems.
• Responsibilities include development and maintenance of the Internal Engineering Platform, CI/CD platform management, build and deployment automation, application configuration management, and artifact management.
• The role requires participation in an on-call rotation to support platform tooling and collaboration with diverse internal teams.
