Description:

  • The Backend Engineer will be part of the Platform team and will be responsible for building scalable high-load systems using Python.
  • The role involves working with big data, adapting products to handle large data volumes, improving system reliability, and maintaining products.
  • The engineer will also rewrite legacy systems using modern technologies.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have excellent knowledge of Python with at least 5 years of experience.
  • A strong understanding of raw SQL is required, with no ORM experience.
  • Experience with data storage solutions like PostgreSQL, including performance optimization, is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience in building and scaling micro-services-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern CI/CD approaches and tools is essential.
  • Experience in setting up and improving development processes is required.
  • A strong focus on business implications when making architectural decisions is important.
