Description:
The Backend Engineer for the Ranking Foundation team at Reddit will work collaboratively with product, design, and other engineering teams to develop innovative products and features that enhance user experience.
Responsibilities include contributing to the full development cycle, from technical design to launch, reviewing code and design docs, and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements:

Proficiency in GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift basics, and designing maintainable APIs is essential.
Demonstrated experience in developing highly scalable and reliable serving systems is necessary.
Strong organizational skills, prioritization abilities, and a track record of delivering projects on schedule are required.
The ideal candidate should possess an entrepreneurial spirit, be self-directed, innovative, and excel in fast-paced environments.
