The Backend Engineer will implement, design, and drive new features delivery end-to-end through implementation, launch, and continuous iteration.
Responsibilities include documenting development processes, standards, and best practices, writing and maintaining a full unit test suite, and ensuring the technical feasibility and stability of solutions in accordance with architectural standards.
The role involves managing deployments, setting up CI/CD pipelines, collaborating in an agile environment, and engaging with business stakeholders to define application requirements.
The engineer will write performant, scalable, and testable code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to engineering design sessions while balancing speed and quality.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of developing complex, high-quality software systems delivered to customers.
Excellent communication skills are required, with proficiency in English at a minimum C1 level.
Expert-level knowledge of the Ruby on Rails framework is essential.
A strong background in developing cloud-based solutions with a focus on security is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable operating in a sometimes ambiguous, fast-changing environment with rapid iteration cycles.
Demonstrated experience managing project timelines and feature requests realistically is required.
Experience with Fintech solutions or STRIPE is preferred.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is necessary.
The ability to document and articulate software solutions and strategies effectively is required.
