Description:

  • The Backend Engineer will be responsible for seamlessly integrating and managing various healthcare data sources with the company's systems.
  • They will optimize backend systems to ensure efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers and data scientists to create cohesive, interoperable solutions.
  • Maintain high standards for code quality and system performance.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and methodologies in backend development and interoperability.
  • Foster an inclusive environment, welcoming ideas and contributions from all team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in backend development, particularly with experience in healthcare data interoperability.
  • Proficiency in backend languages, databases, and API integrations, including Rust, Python, TypeScript, SQLite, PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in writing cross-platform software deployable locally and on the cloud.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to approach problems creatively and propose innovative solutions.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic startup atmosphere and able to pivot as needed.
  • Committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment.
  • Experience and/or genuine interest in healthcare technology and data management.
  • Resident of a European country and fluent in English.
