Remote Backend Engineer - Senior and Mid-Level - Sydney Hybrid or AU

Description:

• Join Displayr's Engineering team in a mid-level or senior capacity to contribute to design decisions and plan new features.
• Code review the work of team members, mentor them, and participate in recruitment.
• Convert ideas into products in a collaborative environment.
• Experience working on complex large-scale software platforms with varying tech stacks.
• Preferably expertise in C#/.NET or Java, but strong experience with other languages is valuable.
• Experience with modernizing web applications and moving away from Monoliths is beneficial.
• Worked in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment.
• Produce clean, easily testable, and understandable code consistently.
• Strong communication skills, innovative, and willing to take calculated risks.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience for mid-level and 6 years for senior in backend software development.
• Expertise in C#/.NET or Java preferred.
• Experience with complex large-scale software platforms and tech debt.
• Experience with modernizing web applications and moving away from Monoliths.
• Previous work in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment.
• Strong understanding of platforms and libraries used.
• Proven track record of achievements.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Innovative mindset and willingness to take risks.
