Description:

As a Backend Engineer at One, you will be responsible for collaborating with other engineers to ship code, building and maintaining documentation, and solving complex problems related to real-world money movement and sensitive financial data at scale.
You will work on products and systems that serve customers and run the company, collaborating with various teams including product, design, data, customer support, ops, and compliance.
The tools used include the fp-ts library for functional programming with Node/TypeScript running on top of Kubernetes and AWS, although prior experience with these tools is not required.
The role requires 5+ years of professional experience in building, shipping, and growing non-trivial products and services, along with a passion for quality, an act-like-an-owner mentality, and a desire to keep growing skills.
