Description:

The Backend Engineer position at IBA InfoTech involves developing microservices and cloud-native applications using Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring MVC Framework, Spring Boot Framework, JPA, and Spring Security.
The role requires 3-7 years of professional experience and expertise in unit testing with frameworks like Junit, Mockito, and JBehave.
Responsibilities include building and deploying services using tools like Gradle, Maven, and Jenkins as part of the CI/CD process.
Candidates should have experience working with Google Cloud Platform and any relational database (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL).
The engineer will collaborate with a team to develop high-performing code, ensure quality practices, optimize applications for non-functional requirements, and monitor application health and KPIs.
Additionally, the role involves supporting production deployment, troubleshooting complex issues, and advocating for security best practices within engineering.

3-7 years of professional experience in backend engineering
Proficiency in Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring MVC Framework, Spring Boot Framework, JPA, and Spring Security
Experience with unit testing using Junit, Mockito, and JBehave
Ability to build and deploy services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc., as part of the CI/CD process
