Description:
The Backend Infrastructure Engineer will assist in maintaining and improving the backend infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
This role involves contributing to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling.
The engineer will help build and maintain monitoring systems to identify and resolve performance issues in real-time.
Participation in incident management and troubleshooting efforts to resolve system outages or performance degradations is required.
The engineer will collaborate with senior engineers, development teams, and SREs to ensure system design meets reliability and scalability requirements.
Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards in infrastructure management is a key responsibility.
The role includes identifying and implementing ways to improve system reliability, performance, and efficiency.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
The candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in backend infrastructure engineering or related roles.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is necessary.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is expected.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, specifically Terraform or Ansible, is required.
Basic scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash are needed.
An understanding of monitoring and logging tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack, is important.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities are required.
The ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic environment is necessary.
