Remote Backend PHP Laravel Developer

Description:

• As a PHP Laravel Developer, you will join our software development team and be responsible for writing and updating server-side web application logic.
• You will develop back-end components, connect the application to other web services, and develop REST APIs for the front end.
• The role involves designing and creating projects using the Laravel framework and PHP, assisting the team in delivering high-quality web applications, services, and tools for the business.
• You should be adept at utilizing Laravel's GUI and be able to design a PHP application from start to finish.
• A top-notch Laravel developer will leverage their expertise and experience of the framework to independently produce complete solutions in a short turnaround time.
• Your tasks will include maintaining and developing large and complex back-end systems for feature-rich SPA web applications, troubleshooting issues, testing functionality, writing reusable and efficient PHP code, integrating software with existing systems, and researching new technologies to improve application code.
• You will also assist in defining application architecture, work closely with Frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and the Quality Assurance team, and provide documentation of delivered requirements.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 4-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and various software design patterns is essential.
• Strong knowledge of PHP-Laravel and SQL databases such as MySQL is required.
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of the Laravel framework and experience with REST API development is mandatory.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus.
• A basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
• Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
• The ability to work independently and with a team is necessary.
• In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology is required.
• Working knowledge of product development architecture and proficiency in the use of analytic tools is necessary.
• The ability to prioritize effectively and excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles are required.
• The ability to work with large teams and an understanding of design quality standards is essential.
• Bonus: Experience with AngularJS or similar frontend frameworks is a plus.
