Remote Backend Python Developer

Description:

• International software development company is seeking a Backend Developer with experience in Python/Django/Postgres to join their cohesive team.

• The position involves working on a project related to analytics and simulation systems for government orders, contributing to the development of innovative technologies and solutions in the world of transportation and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, testing, and implementing new features and enhancements for web applications based on Django.
• Supporting and optimizing existing systems and services.
• Developing and maintaining APIs.
• Designing and implementing database schemas.
• Optimizing queries and working with large volumes of data.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Backend developer.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Python and Django.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Basic knowledge in Data Science and experience with related libraries.
• Ability to work in a team and attention to detail.
• Experience with Git, gitflow.
• Experience with Debian, Ubuntu distributions.
• Experience with CI/CD.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of PostGIS and working with cartography.
• Experience with government operating systems (Astralinux).
