Remote Backend Python Developer

Description:

• International software development company is seeking a Backend Developer with experience in Python/Django/Postgres to join their cohesive team.

• The company is looking for a specialist for a project related to analytics and simulation systems for government orders, contributing to the development of innovative technologies and solutions in the world of transportation and infrastructure.
• Tasks for this position include developing, testing, and implementing new features and improvements for web applications based on Django, supporting and optimizing existing systems and services, developing and maintaining APIs, designing and implementing database schemas, and optimizing queries while working with large datasets.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Backend developer.
• Strong knowledge and experience working with Python and Django.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Basic knowledge in Data Science and experience with related libraries.
• Ability to work in a team and attention to detail.
• Experience with Git, gitflow.
• Experience with Debian, Ubuntu distributions.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Knowledge of PostGIS and working with cartography is a plus.
• Experience with government operating systems (Astralinux) is a plus.
