The platform directly connects physicians with job opportunities, eliminating the need for traditional agencies and prioritizing patient care.
They are looking for a Backend Python Engineer to help build scalable, secure, and reliable applications that improve patient outcomes while ensuring the highest standards of performance and data security.
You will work directly with the CTO to strategize and deliver critical features that will enhance the healthcare industry.
The position is fully remote, with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM EST.

Requirements:

You must have 4+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
Proficiency in FastAPI is required, with strong experience in building RESTful APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks like Flask and Django.
Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy or other ORMs for database interactions and schema design is necessary, along with extensive knowledge of MySQL, including complex query building and optimization.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deployments and infrastructure management is essential.
Proficiency with Redis for caching, sessions, and Pub/Sub is required.
Familiarity with job queue systems like Celery, RQ, or RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing is necessary.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and leadership are required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges are essential.
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is preferred.
