The platform directly connects physicians with job opportunities, eliminating the need for traditional agencies and prioritizing patient care.
They are looking for a Backend Python Engineer to help build scalable, secure, and reliable applications that improve patient outcomes while ensuring the highest standards of performance and data security.
You will work directly with the CTO to strategize and deliver critical features that will enhance the healthcare industry.
This position is fully remote, with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM EST.
Key responsibilities include architecting and developing backend services and APIs using Python, managing MySQL databases, deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform, implementing caching solutions, optimizing application performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and upholding coding standards.

Requirements:

You must have 4+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
Proficiency in FastAPI or similar frameworks like Flask and Django for building RESTful APIs is required.
Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy or other ORMs for database interactions and schema design is necessary, along with extensive knowledge of MySQL.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform for deployments and infrastructure management is essential.
Proficiency with Redis for caching, sessions, and Pub/Sub is required.
Familiarity with job queue systems like Celery, RQ, or RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing is needed.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and leadership are crucial.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges are necessary.
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is preferred.
Staying up-to-date with emerging AI tools and proactively applying them to enhance efficiency is expected.
