The Backend Senior Software Engineer will join the Community and Product Launch team, building products that empower independent artists to grow their businesses on Minted.com.
Responsibilities include designing systems, implementing scalable services, optimizing product launch processes, leading product data remodeling efforts, ensuring adherence to continuous delivery practices, and advocating for best practices in development.
The role involves building and maintaining backend architecture for a high-traffic e-commerce platform and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects with measurable business results.

Requirements:

A BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer.
Technical system design expertise with a focus on distributed and cloud-based architectures is essential.
Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript are required.
Understanding of automated testing methods for software is necessary.
Proficiency in SQL, database modeling, and ORMs is required.
Experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, SQS, and CloudWatch is needed.
Candidates should have experience working with both client-side and server-side code.
A passion for writing clean, high-quality, and error-free code is essential.
