The Senior Software Engineer will lead and mentor engineers, delivering high-value products and scalable infrastructure.
The role involves managing a product that monitors the security posture for thousands of companies, processing tens of millions of API calls daily.
The engineer will set technical direction for infrastructure scalability and drive complex projects across the technical stack.
The Identity team focuses on authentication systems and authorization frameworks to support enterprise customers.
Responsibilities include designing extensible systems for user data modeling, supporting policy-based authorization, and establishing interface contracts for identity services.
The engineer will lead projects with multiple stakeholders, collaborate with Security for best practices, and mentor junior team members.
The role requires making trade-offs considering business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 8 years of industry experience in backend development.
Strong knowledge of authentication protocols (OIDC, SAML) and identity federation concepts (SSO) is required.
Experience with authorization frameworks (RBAC, policy-based access control) is necessary.
Candidates should have experience building scalable platform services across multiple teams.
Strong data modeling skills for complex systems are essential.
Experience solving distributed systems challenges related to performance and security is required.
Candidates should have a track record of successful technical migrations that maintain system stability.
A security-focused mindset and understanding of enterprise security practices are necessary.
Experience leading technical projects over several months is required.
Candidates must work well in environments that value decisive action and productivity.
Experience mentoring and collaborating with other engineers is essential.
