The company is looking for a generalist Software Engineer to create and support web services that provide core functionality for the financial ecosystem.
Backend Software Engineers will create robust, scalable, and secure backend systems, collaborating closely with their team to achieve collective goals.
Responsibilities include understanding and analyzing issues, designing and implementing backend solutions, developing software for business goals, diagnosing and fixing bugs, and mentoring fellow engineers.
Engineers will also maintain project focus, stay updated on technologies, create documentation, monitor services, conduct technical interviews, and propose initiatives for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a strong background in backend development with a solid understanding of programming fundamentals.
Knowledge of best practices for code structure, readability, and maintainability is essential.
Experience with software design patterns relevant to backend systems is required.
Strong experience in designing, building, and integrating APIs, with an understanding of RESTful and/or GraphQL standards, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining software products in a production environment.
Familiarity with backend architectural patterns (e.g., MVC) and experience with microservices is a plus.
Experience delivering solutions iteratively, with a continuous focus on optimization and improvement, is expected.
Nice to have: Experience designing and deploying microservices-based architectures, knowledge of Ruby and Ruby on Rails, and familiarity with AWS services.
