Description:
Angle Health is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to help architect and scale the core backend infrastructure of their healthcare platform.
The role involves building systems from the ground up, including designing APIs, structuring data models, and optimizing performance for a high-growth company.
The engineer will collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to implement new features while ensuring systems are scalable and reliable.
Responsibilities include overseeing the entire application lifecycle, building optimal backend applications, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
This position is remote within the US and is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of software engineering experience.
A strong understanding of business context and a desire to connect engineering solutions to real-world problems is essential.
A solid engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics is required.
Familiarity with data structures, CI/CD, software development lifecycles, backend frameworks, and other technical tools is necessary.
Proficiency in Python and Django is required, with experience in Java considered a plus.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to learn independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
