Description:

As a Backend Software Engineer at Treatwell, you will work with a variety of exciting technologies including Java 11, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch.
You will be responsible for deploying applications using Kubernetes and monitoring them with Prometheus in an AWS environment.
Working in a cross-functional Agile team, you will contribute to writing and shipping high-quality code frequently.
You will collaborate with your team to deliver incremental changes to improve customer experience.
Mentoring junior team members and supporting them in creating robust solutions will be part of your role.
You will help identify opportunities to enhance the team's ability to deliver changes effectively and maintain applications in production.

Must have professional experience in Java development.
Familiarity with the tech stack used at Treatwell and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Previous experience in a high-performing Agile development team that delivers continuously.
Enjoy mentoring and empowering team members.
Deep understanding of designing and building distributed applications.
Ability to recognize and implement good technical design practices.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a passionate team.
Active involvement in the software development community through blogs, meetups, personal projects, or open-source contributions.
