The position is for a Backend Software Engineer, preferably on-site in Paris, but hybrid and 100% remote options are available.
The role involves improving the synchronization engine, integrating third-party financial services, shipping code to production daily, and being part of a small and efficient team.
The engineer will rotate as a technical champion, triaging and resolving issues, and will own projects end-to-end from specification to release.
The current tech stack includes 100% Typescript, Node.js, Postgres, Redis, Graphql, and React, with infrastructure managed using Terraform on GCP.

Requirements:

Candidates should have 3+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
Proficiency in Typescript development is required.
A pragmatic approach to engineering that balances seamless experiences, beautiful code, maintainability, and time to market is essential.
An appreciation for a test-driven, code-review culture is necessary.
Candidates should be naturally collaborative and focused on facts and pragmatic solutions to problems.

Candidates should ideally be based in Paris or live in the Paris timezone.
