The company is looking for Backend Software Engineers to work in a Scala ecosystem running in the AWS cloud, processing billions of dollars in transactions for professional services customers.
Engineers will be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering quality, secure, and high-availability APIs for internal customers and partners.
Responsibilities include planning solutions for business needs, developing message-based and REST APIs, researching new technologies, coordinating with DevOps and Quality Engineers, mentoring junior engineers, and learning Scala functional programming.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required.
Candidates must have experience with server-side programming languages such as Scala, Java, or Python.
Strong software design and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies.
Experience in monitoring and debugging large-scale solutions in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure is necessary.
Candidates should have experience developing scalable database structures in SQL and RDBMS environments.
Familiarity with event sourcing systems and experience with containerized applications, preferably Kubernetes, is preferred.
A desire to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and strong teamwork is important.
