Description:

Capital on Tap is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join their Internal and Core Systems (ICS) team, focusing on building credit card and payment products for small businesses.
The position is a B2B Contract role that allows for remote work from Poland.
The ICS team is responsible for internal tools for customer account management and core financial operations.
The role involves improving, refactoring, and maintaining complex legacy processes.
Responsibilities include building robust and scalable solutions using .Net technology, owning the software development life cycle (SDLC), collaborating with Product Managers, QA’s, and fellow Software Engineers, creating unit and integration tests, troubleshooting bugs, and ensuring alignment between technical and business goals.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in C#, .Net Core, and SQL Server.
A good understanding of database technologies is required.
Familiarity with good testing practices, including both unit and integration testing, is essential.
Experience in using Agile development practices is necessary.
A passion for learning new skills and technologies is expected.
