Description:

The Backend Software Engineer will work on cloud-based streaming telemetry services and applications for Arista Networks' CloudVision.
CloudVision is Arista’s enterprise network management and streaming telemetry SaaS offering, catering to large Financials, Media and Entertainment, Health Care, and Cloud companies.
The role involves working on a scale-out distributed system providing real-time and historical access to the full network state, leveraging technologies like Go, Hbase, ClickHouse, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Kubernetes, Ambassador, and Zookeeper.
Responsibilities include building device management and network analytics applications to automate enterprise networks, from CI/CD pipelines for network automation to advanced analytics and remediation for network assurance.
The Backend Software Engineer will own projects end-to-end, collaborating with product management and customers to define requirements, design architecture, build the backend, write automated tests, and deploy into production via the CD pipeline.

Requirements:

BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or relevant experience is required.
5+ years of experience in Go, C, C++, Java, or similar languages is necessary.
Experience with network monitoring, network protocols, distributed systems, machine learning, or data analytics is a plus.
