The engineering team consists of experts in computer vision, software architecture, and data science from the self-driving car industry.
The role involves collaborating with the Software Architect to design, develop, and deploy robust AWS applications, including data processing pipelines.
Responsibilities include maintaining a secure AWS infrastructure, writing clean and efficient code, and troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
The first 30 days will focus on getting oriented with the codebase and team integration.
The next 60 days will involve contributing to API development and addressing technical debt.
By the 90-day mark, the engineer will take ownership of a feature or subsystem and optimize API performance.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in software development and engineering.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in developing and deploying AWS applications is necessary, with knowledge of services like Redshift, EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and API Gateway.
Proficiency in TypeScript or C# typed programming languages is required.
Experience with AWS Serverless technologies, DevOps tools, and containerization is essential.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are necessary, including experience working with external partners.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with video processing tools, AWS certifications, and familiarity with Kubernetes and ETL pipelines.
