The Backend Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain the backbone of BytePitch’s and its clients' software applications and systems.
They will work collaboratively with a team of engineers to build robust and scalable backend solutions that power the products.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend components and systems, creating efficient and secure APIs, optimizing databases, and building systems that can handle high-traffic loads.
The role also involves identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, implementing security best practices, writing unit tests, and creating clear technical documentation.
Staying up-to-date with the latest backend development trends and best practices is essential.

Requirements:

Candidates must have more than 3 years of experience in similar functions.
Familiarity with service-oriented architectures, design patterns, and data structures is required.
Competence in test automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery is necessary.
Proficiency in building performance applications and monitoring them is essential.
Expertise in relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL) is required.
Solid experience with frameworks such as Node.js and AWS is necessary.
A very good command of programming languages such as Javascript and Typescript is required.
Skills in building highly concurrent, transactional, and resilient services are essential.
Knowledge of blockchain is valued.
Acquaintance with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps is necessary.
Fluency in English is required.

Two types of contracts are available: Employment & Service (B2B) Agreements.
