Description:

Voldex is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build backend services for their library of live service games.
The role will impact the fun of millions of users as all games have huge potential.
Engineers will partner closely with a highly-skilled team including engineers, product managers, artists, and game designers.
The position encourages contributions from diverse perspectives in game design discussions.
Responsibilities include creating new backend services, maintaining existing APIs and infrastructure, and working with a team experienced in building cloud infrastructure for millions of daily users.
The engineer will contribute to the development of new in-game features, web services, and bug fixes.
Writing clear, clean, and efficient code is essential.
Collaboration with other disciplines such as production and design is required to define and develop in-game features for current and upcoming titles.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of professional software development experience.
A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science or a related field is required.
Prior development experience with Golang and Docker is necessary.
A strong grasp of AWS services including Lambda, S3, ECS, EC2, and Fargate is essential.
Familiarity with Node.js, VueJS, and NextJS is preferred.
Effective communication and collaboration skills are required.
An ownership mentality is important for this role.
