Description:

• The Backend Software Engineer in the Developer Acceleration team in Infrastructure at Yalo will support the delivery of best practices and tooling to accelerate the development velocity of the organization.
• Responsibilities include designing and developing tools and best practices to improve development productivity, considering the full stack of work required on features, improving test coverage for services, managing project priorities and deadlines, focusing on overall product quality and user experience, and ensuring software is deployable, maintainable, and ready for delivery.
• The role involves working on microservices in Go and Node.js, deployed on Google Kubernetes Engine, collaborating across engineering facets, and thriving in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Requirements:

• 5 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Go, JavaScript, Python, or other widely used programming languages.
• Strong experience in RESTful Microservices and container technologies like Docker on Kubernetes.
• Expertise in API design, development, and management.
• Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
