Remote Backend Software Engineer - Operating Platform

Description:

• The Operating Platform (OP) at Addepar is responsible for all data acquisition, storage, conversion, cleansing, disambiguation, modeling, tooling, infrastructure, and provisioning of portfolio, market, account, and reference data.
• The platform serves as a "data fabric" foundation for executing Addepar's multi-product strategy.
• It includes a centralized and self-describing repository (Data Lake), API-driven data services, integration pipeline, analytics infrastructure, warehousing solutions, and operating tools.
• Backend software engineers will work on handling large volumes of data and building distributed systems for automated data ingestion and transformation.
• The role offers the opportunity to use the latest technology stacks to develop the next generation of Addepar's data, computation, API, and research platform.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional software engineer.
• Must be intellectually curious, willing to experiment, and have a strong inclination towards automation.
