Remote Backend Team Lead (Full Remote within Spain)

Description:

• Leadtech is seeking a Backend Developer Team Lead who will establish high-quality standards in technical knowledge, organization, and management within the team.
• The role involves contributing to the development of team members by providing support, advice, and training in time management and prioritization.
• Encouraging research and innovation for new opportunities within projects and processes to maintain competitiveness.
• Improving code quality and maintaining a cohesive, motivated team with a professional vision.
• Participating in selection processes for developers, team leads, and architects.
• Coordinating with other project team leads and technical leads.
• Managing team vacations and absences, identifying training needs, and planning for team growth.
• Supporting the onboarding process for new hires and providing guidance on code improvements and quality.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational and leadership skills are required.
• Valuable previous experience managing development teams is essential.
• Excellent communication skills are a must.
• Previous experience in mentoring, coaching, or leading a development team is necessary.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams is required.
• More than 5 years of experience as a Frontend developer is needed.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, and React for web application development is essential.
• Familiarity with automated testing platforms, unit tests, and agile environments is required.
• Knowledge of semantic HTML, SEO optimization, BEM, SASS, and/or Styled Components methodology is necessary.
• Desirable qualifications include knowledge of build tools, automation, cloud platforms, and CMS systems.
