Description:

The role is for a Big Data Engineer with a focus on experience in development using Python or Scala, Spark, and GCP.
You will be involved in projects from the initial stages of client engagement, understanding business needs to propose the most suitable technical solution.
You will develop projects from scratch with minimal supervision and collaborate with the team.
Participation in the design of architectures and decision-making in a constructive environment with co-creation dynamics is expected.
You will be a key player in developing best practices, clean, and reusable code.
You will develop ETLs using Spark (Python/Scala).
You will work on cloud projects (Azure/AWS).
You will build scalable pipelines using various technologies.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of experience in software/data engineering is required.
Experience in architecture design is necessary.
Solid experience in Python or Scala and Spark for processing large volumes of data is essential.
Strong experience in Cloud (GCP) is required.
Experience in creating data pipelines (CI/CD) is necessary.
Experience in testing (unit, integration, etc.) is required.
Experience with BI tools (Power BI) will be positively valued.
Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or Fabric will be positively valued.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) will be positively valued.
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases is required.
A good level of English is essential.
