Description:
CoreBridge Solutions is seeking a Bilingual Front-End Developer with a passion for building fast, user-friendly websites using modern tools.
The position is fully remote and open to applicants based in Colombia only, with part-time work hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM (Colombia Time).
The developer will work primarily with the Astro framework, deploying on Vercel, automating workflows with GitHub Actions, and integrating content from a headless CMS.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the front-end of the website, integrating with a headless CMS, optimizing site performance, implementing SEO best practices, setting up CI/CD pipelines, managing Vercel deployments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring quality assurance, and proposing continuous improvements.
Requirements:
Candidates must have hands-on experience building websites with Astro or similar frameworks like Next.js or Gatsby, and understand the JAMstack approach.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is required, with experience in TypeScript and modern JS frameworks, especially React.
A deep understanding of modern web performance best practices and familiarity with Core Web Vitals metrics is essential.
Experience with headless CMS platforms and the ability to fetch and handle content via RESTful or GraphQL APIs is necessary.
Knowledge of deploying front-end applications on Vercel or similar platforms and experience setting up CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitHub Actions, is required.
Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows is necessary, along with a good understanding of SEO best practices and basic accessibility standards.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for front-end issues are essential.
Bonus points for experience with Tailwind CSS, Node.js for build scripts, or writing tests for front-end code.
Soft skills required include excellent collaboration, communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership and drive.
